It was standing room and you could almost smell the excitement in the air as we revealed what’s been cooking in the JustFoodERP R&D lab, during our User Event in Vegas yesterday afternoon.
Dan Rowe, Product Manager, and I reviewed some of the JustFoodERP 12.01 release functionality, which includes:
JustFoodERP Plant is a Big Hit!
We also demonstrated some of our new prototypes including:
1. JustFoodERP Plant, a desktop application using web services to bring key shop-floor functionality to the desktop utilizing a touch-friendly light interface, with
-
Production output and consumption
-
Future: Quality Audits
With JustFoodERP Plant, you can configure the interface to show only the fields the users need, with, real-time KPIs. And you benefit with a cheaper licensing model! The buzz at the User Event around JustFoodERP Plant has been especially positive and rampant!
2. Product Specifications
-
Publish key product information to customers, vendors, employees, etc. using data directly from your JustFoodERP database:
-
Catch weight information
-
Lot production/expiration dates
-
Country of origin
-
Who was the item purchased from?
-
Who was the item sold to?
-
What ingredients/nutrients/allergens are contained in this item?
-
And more!
3. Quick Response (QR) codes
-
Generate 3 types of QR codes directly from your JustFoodERP system: URL, map coordinates, and contacts
-
Use QR codes in marketing campaigns or to streamline internal processes
-
Applications to scan QR codes are available for all current mobile device platforms
-
Example: Use a QR code that when scanned takes the user to a Product Specification website for the given item and lot
4. Role Center KPIs
-
Display key performance indicators directly on the role center page (example shown, right)
-
Configure KPI thresholds directly in your JustFoodERP database
-
Users can choose which KPIs are important for them to see and hide the rest
-
Show or hide the values of the KPI so that performance can be communicated without displaying sensitive data
